Chase Strickland produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one walk. On the season, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 1.24 over 11.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.480/0.576/0.640 with 11 runs and just as many RBI.
