Basketball Recap: Old Saybrook Comes Up Short

Old Saybrook lost against Old Lyme back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Old Saybrook Rams took a 59-41 bruising from the Old Lyme Wildcats. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Old Saybrook has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Old Lyme, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Saybrook will head out to take on Cromwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Old Lyme, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Old Lyme Wildcats face off against the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
