Baseball Game Preview: St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints vs. Boys Latin Lakers

The St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints will face off against the Boys Latin Lakers at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with six straight losses, while Boys Latin will come in with four straight victories.

Saturday just wasn't the day for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' offense. They fell just short of Moore Catholic by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Saints were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Boys Latin beat Moore Catholic 11-8 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Lakers have won by exactly three runs.

Justin Fedash looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Mark Windle was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. PJ Martino was another key player, going 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.

Boys Latin's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
