In other batting news, Solomon Rials and Ezekiel Rycroft did most of the damage at the plate: Rials scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Rycroft scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave Rycroft a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Freitez, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Destin's victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
