Basketball Recap: Oak Ridge Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Oak Ridge extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Centennial. They came out on top against the Centennial Eagles by a score of 77-70.

Jalen Reece continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 16-for-19 en route to 38 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The game was his seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Jamier Jones was another key player, going 11-for-14 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds.

Centennial lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jeremy Felix, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 21 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 19 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Vic Jackson, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and four blocks.

Oak Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.

Coming up, Oak Ridge will take on Wellington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wellington will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Oak Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
