Baseball Game Preview: Ellsworth Eagles vs. Greely Rangers

Ellsworth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Hermon by a score of 8-5.

Meanwhile, Greely faced Fryeburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Rangers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Raiders.

Keeler Vogt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kyle Soule was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.
