Elizabeth had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Plainview Hornets by a score of 10-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 7-0 win back in February.

Elizabeth's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Plainview, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12.

Elizabeth has already played their next contest, a 13-2 win against Reeves on the 28th. As for Plainview, they will face off against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville on Tuesday.
