Nease and Bartram Trail are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers will take on the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Nease is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Christ's Church Academy.

Meanwhile, Bartram Trail lost 10-2 to Buchholz on Friday.

Bartram Trail got a good showing from Croix DiBacco, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time DiBacco hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in February.

On the hitting side, Luke Labbe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Bartram Trail's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Nease, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Nease skirted past Bartram Trail 3-2 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
