Basketball Recap: Robert Boyd and Takaedrius Maxwell Secure Win for Rosa Fort + How To Watch

Rosa Fort won the last time they faced Charleston and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions walked away with a 77-64 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Leading Rosa Fort to victory were Takaedrius Maxwell and Robert Boyd. Maxwell posted 29 points and three steals, while Boyd put up 23 points and five rebounds. That's the most steals Maxwell has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trishaun Jones, who had 12 points and six boards.

When it comes to explaining why Charleston lost, don't look at Branderious Bankston. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points. Another player making a difference was MacKevious Crawford, who earned 14 points.

Rosa Fort's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Rosa Fort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-40 win against Center Hill on the 8th. As for Charleston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Senatobia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
