After losing to Independence the last time they met, Leland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 win over the 76ers on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-16.

Leland's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leland will face off against Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will challenge Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The 76ers are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
