If Belle Fourche wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Philip, they should've done a better job of containing Taylor O'Connell. The Scotties had just enough and edged out the Broncs 2-1 thanks in part to O'Connell, who had 21 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Philip's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Belle Fourche, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Philip wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Wall on the 27th. As for Belle Fourche, they will challenge Custer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
