Volleyball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lincolnton Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-13.

Wesley Mayse paced Chase's offense, picking up three kills. Mayse got some help from MyleeKaye Fincher and her seven assists.

Chase's record now sits at 6-16. As for Lincolnton, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Chase didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Draughn on the 7th. As for Lincolnton, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Highland Tech on the 7th.
