Football Game Recap: Campbellsville vs. Russell County

The last time they met, Russell County were the 21-20 winner over Campbellsville. This time around? They had no such luck. Russell County had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it on Friday as the team lost 33-34 to Campbellsville. This makes it the second loss in a row for Russell County.

The loss dropped Russell County back to even at 3-3. The victory bumped Campbellsville's record up to 6-1.

Russell County will stay at home next week against Rockcastle County at 8:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game. Campbellsville will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Bethlehem in two weeks at 7:30 PM.
