After a string of three wins, Brooks's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Addison Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brylee Harrison paced Brooks' offense, picking up five kills. Harrison got some help from Ashlyn Richardson and her ten assists. Harrison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Addison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Brooks has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Athens on the 29th. As for Addison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Morgan on the 28th.
