Baseball Game Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Kenosha Tremper Trojans

For the second straight game, Indian Trail will face off against Kenosha Tremper. The Hawks will welcome the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Indian Trail is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Kenosha Tremper a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.

Indian Trail was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kenosha Tremper on Tuesday. The Hawks blew past the Trojans 10-3. Considering the Hawks have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jack Zeller, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Talynn Ade was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

With the loss, Kenosha Tremper broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2-1. As for Indian Trail, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
