Basketball Recap: Elmwood Comes Up Short

Elmwood lost against Princeville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Elmwood Trojans fell to the Princeville Princes 49-45. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elmwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Princeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elmwood and Abingdon/Avon will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
