Lakeside Christian will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Seven Rivers Christian, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Everything went Lakeside Christian's way against Seven Rivers Christian on Tuesday as Lakeside Christian made off with a 19-4 win. The game marked the Lions' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Jamisen Rheintgen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Lex Mello was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kah'Rin Vance, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her seven plate appearances.
Lakeside Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seven Rivers Christian struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal came up short against Cardinal Mooney on Thursday, falling 12-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbie Eanet, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.
Lakeside Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
