Preview: Murray vs. Taylorsville
The Murray Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Taylorsville Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Murray took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Skyline. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Murray was the better team in the second half.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Dillon Curtis and
Axel Lopez, who scored both of Murray's goals.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Taylorsville sidestepped Cottonwood for a 2-1 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Taylorsville.
