Napoleon waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Concord Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since September 16th.

Napoleon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Napoleon's victory bumped their record up to 27-12-3. As for Concord, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 26-9-3.

Coincidentally, Napoleon and Concord will both be playing Madison the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Yellowjackets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
