Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Longmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Sterling with a sharp 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Longmont needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Longmont pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games.
