             Spring and Cypress Ranch are an even 3-3 against one another  since November of 2016, but  not for long. The Spring Lions are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the Cypress Ranch Mustangs at 7:00  p.m. Spring is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53  points per game  this season.
 It was a proper cat-fight when  Spring took on O'Connor on Saturday. Spring fell to O'Connor  62-57. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.
 Despite the  loss, Spring got top-tier performance from   Jaylan Tran, who  went 10 for 16 en route to 28 points plus two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tadarius Wade, who  went 5 for 7 en route to 12 points plus two  steals.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cypress Ranch beat Cypress Creek 62-57 on Tuesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Mustangs.
 Cypress Ranch now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Spring came out on top in a nail-biter against Cypress Ranch in their previous matchup  back in November of 2023, sneaking past  54-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spring since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
