Basketball Recap: Orem Takes a Loss

Orem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mountain View Bruins, falling 52-32. The Tigers were down 43-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kimberlee Brown, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 15 points and four steals. Jaycee Carlson was another key player, putting up four points in addition to 12 boards, six assists, and five steals.

Orem's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Orem has already played their next contest, a 54-29 loss against Provo on the 17th. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-49 defeat against Payson on the 17th.
