Basketball Game Preview: Westchester Country Day Wildcats vs. Greensboro Day School Bengals

Westchester Country Day hasn't had much luck against Greensboro Day School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Westchester Country Day Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Greensboro Day School Bengals at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Westchester Country Day took a blow against Wesleyan Christian Academy, falling 70-40. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Trojans are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Greensboro Day School unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Forsyth Country Day by a score of 38-36.

Greensboro Day School's loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-5. As for Westchester Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Westchester Country Day was dealt a bruising 64-19 defeat at the hands of Greensboro Day School in their previous matchup back in January. Can Westchester Country Day avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
