Basketball Recap: Conner Baber's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northwest Arkansas Homeschool H over Southern Missouri RUSH

Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H lost against Southern Missouri RUSH back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H Hornets took a hard 62-45 fall against Southern Missouri RUSH. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 229th in Arkansas, while Southern Missouri RUSH are ranked 110th in Missouri).

Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Conner Baber, who went 6 for 13 en route to 19 points. Austin Rogers was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Southern Missouri RUSH, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H will take on Fayetteville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville Christian will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H surely won't give up without a fight.
