Softball Recap: Riverside Ram vs. Briar Woods Falcons

On Thursday, Riverside faced Briar Woods in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Riverside Ram had just enough and edged the Briar Woods Falcons out 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.

Kaylie Avvisato made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Avvisato has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
