Softball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pompano Beach can now relate to. They came up short against the St. Brendan Sabres on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Golden Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pompano Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BELLE WILLIAMS, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for St. Brendan, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.

Pompano Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Brendan, they will challenge Coral Springs Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Sabres surely won't give up without a fight.
