Hoopeston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cornjerkers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.

Hoopeston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
