Basketball Recap: Hayesville Takes a Loss

Hayesville lost against Robbinsville last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hayesville Yellowjackets lost to the Robbinsville Black Knights at home by a 65-49 margin.

Bryce Adams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards for Robbinsville. Adams is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 18 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dane Knott, who posted 14 points.

Hayesville's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Robbinsville, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Coincidentally, Hayesville and Robbinsville will both be playing Murphy the next time they take the court. Hayesville will head out to face Murphy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Robbinsville will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
