Franklin and Rainier Beach are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Rainier Beach likes a good challenge.

Franklin will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Cleveland, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Franklin was the clear victor by an 18-3 margin over Cleveland on Monday. While the Quakers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Rainier Beach fell victim to Chief Sealth and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Seahawks, falling 23-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rainier Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christine Paul, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Paul snagged this season.

Franklin's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1. As for Rainier Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Franklin took their win against Rainier Beach in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 30-0. Will Franklin repeat their success, or does Rainier Beach has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
