Greater Middlesex - White recap November 13, 2013

St. Joseph added to the longest winning streak in Greater Middlesex - White this week by beating Woodbridge, 35-6. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Falcons.

Colonia moved up to 164 from 196 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Patriots climbed the ranks as a result of topping Bishop Ahr 44-7.

Terell Merricks was a beast in the backfield as Carteret defeated Kennedy Memorial.

Merricks provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Ramblers bested the Mustangs. Merricks' favorite target this week was Brandon Gilder, who caught 3 passes for 45 yards.

Roemello Monroe was the best receiver in the league this week as South Plainfield beat Perth Amboy. Monroe tallied 4 receptions for 49 yards. Kyle Dickerson helped South Plainfield's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 36 yards.

6-foot-4 quarterback Kyle Moroney of the Tigers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,376. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Gilder. The Carteret star has 19 catches for 402 yards.

Colonia took down the Trojans 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sam Pero ran for 181 yards in the win.
