Football Recap: Howland Comes Up Short

Howland fell victim to Boardman and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Howland's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Boardman, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Howland is set to challenge their familiar foe Canfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Boardman will square off against rival Austintown-Fitch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
