Tolono Unity has gone a perfect 6-0 against Fisher recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rockets will venture away from home to face off against the Bunnies at 4:30 p.m. Tolono Unity's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Fisher's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Tolono Unity was able to grind out a solid victory over Bloomington Central Catholic, taking the game 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Lindy Bates made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). Bates was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other pitching news, Danika Eisenmenger looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Kenley Harris and Jenna Adkins did most of the damage at the plate: Harris went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI, while Adkins went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Shelby Smith was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

Tolono Unity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Fisher fell victim to Lexington and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Minutemen, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bunnies in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost five in a row.

Tolono Unity pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fisher, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Tolono Unity took their win against Fisher when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
