Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe lost against East Hickman County back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Santa Fe Wildcats had to suffer through a 59-12 loss at the hands of the East Hickman County Eagles. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for East Hickman County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Santa Fe won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hampshire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe is facing Hampshire at the right time seeing as Hampshire is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for East Hickman County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harpeth at 6:00 p.m.
