There's no place like home for Woodstock, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Marietta Blue Devils on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

The victory got Woodstock back to even at 1-1. As for Marietta, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Woodstock is taking a road trip to challenge Etowah at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodstock is facing Etowah at the right time seeing as Etowah is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marietta, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Walton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Walton's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Marietta's offense will have their work cut out for them.
