Softball Game Preview: Forest Area Warriors vs. Boyne Falls Loggers

The Forest Area Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Boyne Falls Loggers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Area comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Forest Area is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Central Lake on Tuesday, falling 20-10.

Meanwhile, Boyne Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to Ellsworth. The contest marked the Loggers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Boyne Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Forest Area might still be hurting after the 16-3 loss they got from Boyne Falls when the teams last played back in April. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
