While San Lorenzo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Bethel Jaguars on Tuesday as San Lorenzo made off with a 15-2 victory. Fans of the Grizzlies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Rogelio Hernandez made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kane Lawless, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marco Nunez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

San Lorenzo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .512 or higher in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

San Lorenzo pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Bethel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

San Lorenzo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Redwood Christian on the 20th. As for Bethel, they have also already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Sonoma Valley on the 18th.
