Volleyball Recap: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. Sullivan Golden Arrows
With a playoff game on the line, Linton-Stockton rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sullivan Golden Arrows as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Miners sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.
Sullivan's loss came despite strong showings from Kensley Wiltermood and Avari Kelley. Wiltermood had 14 digs, while Kelley had eight digs.
Linton-Stockton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Sullivan, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.
Linton-Stockton has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against South Knox on the 19th. Sullivan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
