Softball Game Preview: North Michigan Christian Academy Comets vs. Wolverine Wildcats

The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets will venture away from home to face off against the Wolverine Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. North Michigan Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

North Michigan Christian Academy came up short against Valley Lutheran last Saturday, falling 17-2. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Meanwhile, Wolverine got the win against Alanson on Thursday by a conclusive 17-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

North Michigan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wolverine, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything went North Michigan Christian Academy's way against Wolverine when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as North Michigan Christian Academy made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
