Southern entered their tilt with Trimble on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Trimble Tomcats by a score of 63-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-37 back in December of 2024.

Southern pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Trimble, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Southern will be playing at home against South Gallia at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
