Softball Recap: Woodland Beavers vs. Hudson's Bay Eagles
Woodland got themselves on the board against Hudson's Bay on Wednesday, but Hudson's Bay never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Gracelynn Huffman and Addi Christensen were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Huffman pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Christensen kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Huffman has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Huffman scored two runs while going 1-for-1, while Christensen went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that Christensen hit this season.
