Football Game Preview: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. Bradford Tornadoes

The Suwannee Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Bradford Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are still undefeated (Suwannee has four wins , while Bradford has three).

Suwannee's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They managed a 6-0 victory over Rickards.

Meanwhile, Bradford humbled Ridgeview with a 36-6 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tornadoes had established a 24 point advantage.

Suwannee better keep an eye on Arnayshia Griffin. She was instrumental in Bradford's win, throwing for 310 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of her passes, and also rushing for 65 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Bradford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Griffin and Nichelle Brown. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to receiving yards: she's posted at least 165 every time she's taken the field this season.

Suwannee pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Bradford, their record is now 3-0.

Suwannee ended up a good deal behind Bradford when the teams last played back in April of 2023, losing 28-12. Can Suwannee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
