Baseball Game Preview: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

For the second straight game, Waccamaw will face off against Aynor. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Blue Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Waccamaw's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Aynor's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Waccamaw's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Aynor hitters got past them. The Warriors came up short against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Waccamaw saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Kerns, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Aynor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Waccamaw, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.
