Freeburg was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in Cahokia. Earlier in the week, the Midgets triumphed over Red Bud 24-0.
Freeburg moved up to 399 from 483 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Ronnie Stuart's team was able to make the jump by beating the Musketeers 24-0.
Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Rickhoff has thrown for 1014 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Jacob Timmerman has 29 catches for 484 yards. Cameron Voss leads the league in rushing with 299 yards.
Columbia took down Carlyle 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
