Jacob Foot Turns in Season-Best Performance

Longmont was led to victory by Jacob Foot, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Foot picked up 233 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.

Holmes must have Skyline's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Holmes saw the Falcons), he threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Servando Morales posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns.

Skyline is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against Adams City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Unfortunately for Skyline, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Foot. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Foot saw the Falcons), he picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Darien Jackson Turns in Season-Best Performance

Broomfield was led to victory by Darien Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (22) he has had since back in November of 2023.

The win was the third in a row for Broomfield, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Jackson and Broomfield will be playing at home against Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
