Soccer Recap: Orion/Sherrard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Orion/Sherrard came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Mendota Trojans. While losing is never fun, Orion/Sherrard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Mendota are ranked 79th).

Orion/Sherrard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Mendota, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Orion/Sherrard didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Illinois Valley Central on the 8th. As for Mendota, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Kewanee on the 2nd.
