Basketball Recap: Carney-Nadeau Comes Up Short

Carney-Nadeau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 57-31 to the Stephenson Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 92-62 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Carney-Nadeau's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stephenson, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Carney-Nadeau will venture away from home to take on North Central at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephenson, they will welcome Newberry at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
