Soccer Game Preview: Pendleton vs. St. Joseph's Catholic

The Pendleton Bulldogs will challenge the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pendleton will be strutting in after a victory while St. Joseph's Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

Pendleton gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bulldogs who were credited with the win. Pendleton got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Southside Christian's four.

St. Joseph's Catholic is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Thursday, they were much more limited against Christ Church Episcopal on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The loss was St. Joseph's Catholic's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Joseph's Catholic fell to 6-1. As for Pendleton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
