Basketball Recap: Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy lost against Mingo Valley Christian back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A took a 60-43 bruising from the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles.

Mingo Valley Christian was led to victory by Matthew Clary and Nathan Bennett. Clary went 7 of 17 on his way to 18 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Bennett went 6 for 10 en route to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Those five rebounds gave Bennett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kai Chinowth, who posted ten points and five boards.

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Mingo Valley Christian, their record is now 9-6.
