Basketball Recap: Cleveland Finds Home Court Redemption Against Clayton

There's no place like home for Cleveland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Clayton Comets 67-53 on Friday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Martina Paz-Aquino went supernova for Cleveland, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Paz-Aquino a new career-high in field goal percentage (62%). Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Cannon, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why Clayton lost, don't look at Y'Zana Lee Randle. Despite the final result, she had 15 points. The matchup was Lee Randle's third in a row with at least 15 points.

Cleveland's record is now 11-13. As for Clayton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
