Volleyball Recap: West Nodaway Rockets vs. Rock Port Blue Jays
After flying high against King City/Union Star on Tuesday, West Nodaway came back down to earth. The Rockets came up short against the Rock Port Blue Jays on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Jays this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, West Nodaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annalee Livengood had 14 digs and four aces. Livengood has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Larabee, who had nine digs and one block.
West Nodaway moved to 17-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Rock Port, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5-3 record this season.
